Countdown to the KCRAR Party of the Year
There is still time to register for KCRAR's best party of the year, Friday, Nov. 30! You are not going to want to miss this event that will feature the annual installation of the 2013 Directors and Officers, as well as recognize the 2012 REALTORŪ award recipients.
Finally, don't forget to add some pre-partying to your planning: YPN-KC will kick-off the holiday event with a reception from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

Dec. 31 Ethics Training Deadline Approaching
You must complete your Code of Ethics training by Dec. 31 in order to avoid having your REALTORŪ membership suspended.
You have several options for fulfilling the training requirement. You can take the class for free at www.Realtor.org, which doesn't give you continuing education (CE) credit, or you can opt to take the course, "Behave Yourself! The Code of Ethics" at KCRAR on Dec. 12 for CE credit.
Additionally, KCRAR will be offering the option of watching a DVD to satisfy the Code of Ethics requirement (no CE credit). Morning sessions (9 to 11:30 a.m.) and afternoon sessions (1 to 3:30 p.m.) will be offered on Dec. 6, 7, 13 and 14 in the KCRAR classroom.

Edge Tech 2012 Teaches How to Stay Social and Tech Savvy
Thursday, Dec. 13 marks the date the Missouri Association of REALTORSŪ (MAR) will be hosting Edge Tech 2012, a FREE, one-of-a-kind event held exclusively for MAR members that will offer opportunities to learn more about social networking and quality data resources now available.
The event will also highlight THE LANDING (www.thelanding.net), the Missouri REALTORSŪ new professional networking and business information site.

A new residential database became available in the Heartland MLS Matrix system on Nov. 14. This section of properties is simply intended to be a way to provide agents with information about properties that are available for rent.
