ing in a report to the school board, district, and community in May 2013. The committee chose Patrick Mullen, executive director of Reaching Heights, as chairperson. "Building on a substantial body of work done by our district, its consultants, the school board, and members of the community these last two years, " Mullen said, "I'm confident that this committee can help answer questions about our community's need for improved and more efficient school facilities, and make recommendations to the school board on a plan that our community will embrace and support with their votes in November 2013."

The next meeting of the committee will take place Oct. 24, 2012, at 7pm, at Gearity Professional Development School. More information specifically about the committee's work can be found at its blog, chuhfacilities.org. The district's facilities blog, http://chuhfacilitiesmasterplan.wordpress.com/, provides a wealth of information documenting the facilities process since 2010, and will continue to be updated.
