AMGA Rock Guide, Chris Burk, created an app called "Guide|Pace." Available at the app store! He recently took the Ski Guide Course, where the instructors and students tested this out resulting in some great feedback. The app helps estimate time travel in the backcountry and expedites this process for tour planning. Read more on Chris' website for Guide|Pace here.

Tranquility Mountain - NEW partner and pro-purchase

About: Launched in December 2013, Tranquility Mountain is a new and exciting line of outdoor day packs built specifically for the outdoor professional. Our Balance Paks have a unique weight distribution system, called HONEYFOAM, that adjusts load pressure from the shoulders and to the top of the hips. The foam support system sits inside a sealed air pocket at the base of the pack, so it maintains cushioning even on long hikes.

Pro purchase is available for SPI, Individual, Certified Guide, and IFMGA members! Check out your pro-purchase page for details.
