A friend of many Kentucky broadcasters and a familiar face at the KBA Annual Conference passed away this week. Ralph Meador, 95, Lexington, MO, died May 25, 2015.
Ralph Meador attended many state broadcasters association's annual meetings and was in Lexington last October for the KBA's conference.
"I love it when the KBA Conference is in Lexington," Meador told Gary White, KBA President/CEO.
"Why is that?" White asked, expecting a complement on the event.
"Because my daughter and her family live here and it gives me a chance to stay and visit with them," he said.
"Ralph would roam the halls and work the room when he attended the KBA conference talking to his many friends along with past and possible future clients," White commented, "he was a permanent fixture at our Annual meeting and will be missed by many."
