At Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, we take great pride in the recovery stories of our patients and their families. We share these stories throughout the hospital and on our online communities frequently. Recently we sat down with three people who had shared their stories to gain a better understanding of what the experience was like for them and the impact they had on others. Ontario Shores is hosting a Farmers' Market Day on Thursday, July 23 in the north end of the parking lot across from Building 2. Vendors from Durham Farm Fresh will be on site with fresh produce and hand-made goods available for sale to staff, volunteers, patients, families, and the community.
Join us for a morning of yoga taught by celebrity Yogis in support of mental health programs and services offered by Schizophrenia Society of Ontario and Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences. Four classes will be conducted on the scenic Ontario Shores grounds overlooking Lake Ontario on Saturday, August 15.
Supports and services for children and youth living with complex and serious mental illness have received a funding boost from the annual Roger Anderson Charity Classic Golf Tournament.
