Can't to Can - Kiddo Accomplishments
- An early childhood kiddo used a staff members name on cue for the first time! So awesome!
- After working on fall/autumn sight words for 3 weeks, an Early Childhood Kiddo was eating his lunch, saw his applesauce and said "Hey Anne! I know this word! It is 'apple'!" It was the first time he had generalized a sight word into his natural environment...amazing!
- A Fire kiddo...age 3....initiated the bathroom, what a great accomplishment to understand the need to let staff know when she needs to go!!!!

Sibling Tree
We will build resources for siblings, safe places to talk and be understood and have activities that are just for the siblings of children with special needs. Siblings sit in waiting rooms, understand that more attention has to be put on their brother or sister and help protect them. Now siblings will have Sibling Tree to make sure they are not lost in the shuffle.
Sibling Tree is held here at Firefly on Saturday mornings at 9:00 am. for more information go to http://www.siblingtree.org/ or contact Sandra at
(720) 840-3001 or e-mail her at sandra@siblingtree.org .

Western Slope Update In December 2012, Western Slope Behavior Services was acquired by Firefly Autism. Since that time exciting things have happened. Not only have we increased the number of clients we're serving but we've also established an amazing Volunteer Advisory Board comprised of an incredible group of individuals. Amanda Chaffin is the founder of Western Slope Behavior Services. Without her vision, this entity would not have existed. Firefly Autism recognizes her work and the strong reputation she established providing ABA services to the community. With our growth also comes the opportunity to enhance our brand and image in the Grand Valley. Over the next several months, you'll see a change in our name...but not the quality of our work and service helping children with autism. We're still a division of Firefly Autism but instead of calling ourselves Western Slope Behavior Services, you'll see the following: Firefly Autism West. Thank you Amanda Chaffin!!!
