October 2013 NJF Newsletter

Greetings!

If you've ever attended a class or training session at NJF, or you intend to, this message affects you.

 

First, let me just say how much we love and appreciate all of our clients and we want to meet the needs of every single person that comes in our doors!  But, unfortunately there are things heart-drawing-girl.jpgthat as a business to keep our doors open and to keep growing with classes and training.  These are never the fun changes, but hopefully the end result will be a schedule that everyone LOVES!


While NJF has been growing over the last year and a half, we have put a variety of classes on the schedule for different days and times trying to create a class schedule that would accommodate as many folks as possible.

 

That has meant we taught class whether there was 1 person or 10, waited to find out if we would have attendees until 15 minutes after start time and have been unable to accommodate personal training clients due to blocked hours for classes, for which we had no attendees.

No Sign Ups, No Class

For the next two months, we will be monitoring class attendance closely.  We will be using the information gathered to establish which classes to remove from our schedule or replace with other classes.  If classes don't have regular attendance, they will be cut.

Our least attended classes right now are at risk for being "chopped".
 

So what does this mean to you?


EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY! 

Any classes that do not have AT LEAST 1 person signed up AT LEAST 1 hour in advance of class start time will be CANCELLED.

 

Want to keep or Cancel a class? 

Now's your chance!  

 

We are asking you to complete a survey (just a few questions) to help us decide what, if any, classes to put into the time slots of those classes that will be removed from the schedule after our 2 month assessment period. 

Your voice (and actions) will help us drive our schedule changes.  Now is your chance to speak up about what you want to see!!!

The New Class Schedule will begin January 1 with December possibly being a sparse month with class cancellations while we analyze data.

                                                               
Policy Enforcement

 As you know, NJF has cancellation policies for classes and appointments.  We also have policies regarding our class cards and training package expirations. 
These are NOT new policies, they are simply policies that folks seem to have some confusion or concerns about.

Class Cards 

10 Class Cards have a 6 month expiration.

5 Class Cards have a 3 month expiration.

The only way to change that is to work with NJF in advance for medical or family reasons so that we can extend your expiration, in advance.

 

Personal Training & Massage  

 

24 Hour Cancellation Policy

If client cancels within 24 hours, you will be charged as if you had attended. 

(credit card on file will be used.)

If a trainer cancels within 24 hours, you will be comped an equivalent session

(1 will be added to your account).

 

Exceptions? 

Illness/Hospitalization and death of a family member.  Keep in mind, this is at client/trainer discretion.  Please don't abuse any leniency.
