Program for Preschoolers led by Morah Marla
prior to brunch, 10 am, BIC

Some of you may already know about the Beth Israel Center Yom Rishon monthly programming for preschoolers and their families. What you might not know is that our own Morah Marla is the teacher this year!  The first one will be Sunday September 22nd (at 10 am at BIC, 1406 Mound Street) on the theme of Sukkot.

Snacks in the Sukkah

Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2:45-3:30

Families, bring a snack to share and we'll nosh together in the BIC sukkah. Snacks must be in accordance with the school's kashrut policy (just like any other foods consumed at school). If you have any questions, see Rabbi Ben-Gideon.

Yum!  Yay!  It's Sukkot!
This week students learned the traditional guidelines for how to make a sukkah, and then created their own out of edible materials. Yum.  (More photos on our flickr photostream)
