Shalom!
This is the last Maggid of the school year. It's hard to believe that it's already time to transition into summer after a year of amazing learning and growth for all of our students.

In the spirit of celebration that began with last week's graduation, families gathered Thursday night for a potluck picnic by Lake Wingra to mark the end of the school year. Many thanks to Sara Byer for organizing this fun community event.

Many thanks as well to all of our families. Your positivity and partnership make our school a warm and friendship-filled place. To our families who are moving away: we will miss you. Send us news often from the great state of New York.

I wish all of you a sunshine-filled summer.

Shabbat Shalom,
Rabbi Rebecca

NEW Student Applications Being Accepted through the Summer

Applications are being accepted for the 2013-14 school year. If you know families who may be interested, please put them in touch with Rabbi Rebecca by leaving a message either via email or phone. Positive word-of-mouth and sharing your excitement about and pleasure with your school and what your kids are learning at MJCDS is THE single most important referral tool we have. Please take every opportunity to share with your friends what an exceptional educational experience MJCDS is first-hand! Thank you for your support.

Free Tuition for New Students in 2013-14
Generous donors have established tuition grants to enable new students to attend MJCDS tuition-free during the 2013-14 school year.

These grants are being provided independent of financial need as a way to increase the accessibility and affordability of an MJCDS education. The Goodman Scholarships will still be in place to help make day school an affordable option for families with returning students. New students must follow MJCDS standard application for admission, which is at the discretion of the school administration, and the number of open seats for new students may vary by grade.

Please help us share this news with any families that may be interested in MJCDS for their children next year.  Click on the photo to access more information about this program.
