Grupo ARHE Invests 300 Million Pesos in Mazatl�n
''�rick Arellano Hern�ndez, director general of ARHE, said in a press conference yesterday the company plans to build a gas station on the Mazatl�n-Culiac�n autopista on four hectares to include semi-trailer parking, a HIT convenience store and restaurant, tire store and an economic hotel charging 300 or 400 pesos per night geared towards long haul drivers. The station, said Arellano Hern�ndez, will be the largest in the State and the country and provide 300 direct jobs and 600 indirect."

"Once those projects come to an end, they will add to the 700 kilometers of new highway infrastructure that has been built in the first two years of Pe�a Nieto's administration with an investment of 55 billion pesos. By the end of his tenure, there will be more 3,000 kilometers of new highways.
" The pipeline, once completed, will have the capacity to carry up to 2.1 trillion cubic feet per day of imported natural gas, or nearly a third of total domestic consumption, and help meet demand in central and western Mexico. Los Ramones will span a total distance of 1,021 kilometers (635 miles) from Agua Dulce, Texas, to Apaseo el Alto, a town in the central Mexican state of Guanajuato, and require a total investment outlay of $2.5 billion.''

Last week in Mazatlan we had the marathon and once again, the Kenyans ruled the podium! This week, the airport renovations were completed and we found out that we are bidding our current US consulate goodbye. The Christmas season is starting with the Santa Claus village opening in Plazuela Republica this weekend, and it will remain so until Janurary 6, 2015.
