It's a big weekend here in the Pearl of the Pacific; it is Maraton Pacifico weekend and with that comes the Festival of Lights. Not enough? How about a Hip-Hop contest? There is  always something going on! By the way, congratulations to the Art Walk for celebrating 10 seasons!

Guess what Mazatlan has now? A Woolworth store! It is located at the new Plaza Sendero. There was a new residential project unveiled this week and the plans and timeline for the "Central Park'' were presented. The city is changing!

 US, Mexico Agree on Greater Access for Air Carriers 

"
The US and Mexico have reached an agreement to expand access for passenger and cargo air service between the two countries. The new agreement removes current restrictions on the number of airlines that can provide service on established routes, the US Transportation Department said in a news release. 
As a result of the new agreement, certain routes could see new airlines entering the market, and carriers will have more opportunities to provide service to destinations that had not been allowed before.

''While the automobile has its advantages, it also causes a lot of problems. But a team in Mexico City, who have done some thinking about traffic, says the same automobile can actually solve those problems itself. 
That team was the winner of this year's Audi Urban Future Award (AUFA), which had invited Seoul, Berlin, Boston and Mexico City to develop projects that would offer mobility solutions: improving mobility and enhancing the quality of life.
