"The investments destined for individual mortgage credits will increase by 255 billion pesos, an amount 18 percent higher than 2013," Pe�a Nieto said, adding that the federal government will increase its contribution from eight to 12 billion pesos.

He is considered one of the finest entertainers of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. Between 1948 and 1954, Infante received six nominations for Best Actor from the Mexican Academy of Arts and Cinematographic Sciences, and in 1956 he won the award. In 1957 he also was honored with the Silver Bear for Best Actor by the Berlin International Film Festival.

Phew! Carnaval Mazatlan 2014 was marked with record-breaking crowds. Great fun was certainly had by all! If you missed it, there are photos here for you to peruse.
Even though Carnaval is over, Mazatlan keeps humming along.
The Norwegian Star arrived at our port last week and will be returning for the remainder of the season. Next week we will have two cruise ships in during one day! It's good to see the cruceros enjoying Mazatlan and our tourist industry friends getting some business! Smiles everywhere!
Cimaco at Gran Plaza is opening a gourmet restaurant inside their store. Just another new place to eat, what's the big deal, right? Well, Mazatlan was picked for this restaurant over both Culiacan and Los Mochis - this city is growing rapidly since the highway opened! The time to invest is NOW!
