Admission includes bowling, shoes, a vegetarian food buffet
and dessert. Tickets are $35.00 in advance and $45.00 at the door. This very popular event sells out every year, so we recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
Let's face it - this winter (which has loooong overstayed its welcome) has been pretty awful, for people and pets. One of the most common issues we've been hearing about from clients is that their dogs have almost forgotten how to behave outside, because they've spent so much time inside in the past few months.
So if you think Fido could use a refresher course in leash walking,
take a look at our upcoming Spring II classes. We've added classes like Leash Walking in the City, Leash Manners, and Field Trip to the schedule to help both you and your pup remember what it's like to take enjoyable walks again!
Join Betsy Lane of PetKiDo for one of her amazing TTouch sessions - this no-force, no-fear approach to training complements other positive training methods and addresses underlying concerns or issues that traditional training overlooks. You can learn more about TTouch here.

Trainer Alison Kao's dogs Dexter (left) and Delilah.
When I got my first dog Dexter I was fresh off an internship at the Shedd Aquarium and full of training momentum. I worked with Dexter every day, a few times a day, on anything from obedience to tricks. It was fun and easy. Then we got Delilah and all that changed. I couldn't just decide to train one of the dogs on any given day because the other dog was there and wanted my attention as well. So I had to figure out a way to manage both of them. I have tried many different techniques, and have found what works for me and my dogs.
All the techniques I tried can, and do, work, but some did not fit with the two crazy pups I own. If you are finding it hard to work with all of your dogs, I encourage you to try out different ways and see what works for you.
In our last newsletter we posted the story of Junior Trainer Lynda Lobo's search for her missing dog, Ryan. In
Part Two of the story, published on Rover-Time's blog, you can read about Ryan's eventual sighting, recovery, and happy (if exhausted) reunion with her very relieved humans.
