On this Snowy Day: Think Spring!

As we watch the snow accumulate outside the AnimalSense office, our trainers are daydreaming of warmer days, the blossom of tulips and asparagus season. But don't worry, in the dog training world, seasons come early.

Spring Dog In fact, Spring I session is here!

AnimalSense offers group training classes six days a week at nine different Chicagoland locations.

Here are just a few of our favorite upcoming classes:

Pit Bull Our NEW Pittie Perfection class celebrates all pitbull-type dogs and their amazing traits. Our NEW For the Love of Labs shows us why these dogs are so darn popular and loveable. These breed-specific classes look at what your dog was genetically built to do and approach basic behavior problem solving with this insight in mind.

If you have a dog who needs a shot of bravado, our Shy Dogs: Confidence Building for Scaredy Dogs will help tame their timidness.

T-Touch If your dog tends to bark, whine, cower, pant, lick, chew, spin, pace or hide,
Tellington TTouch® Essentials
could help. Offered in Chicago and Glenview (and already sold out in Oak Park!), this class will foster respect between you and your dog.

Perhaps you've already got the basics down with your dog? Take their training to the next level with our Canine Good Citizen, which is the first step on the path to therapy dog work.

Nose Work Put your dog's snout to the test in the competitive sport of K9 Nose Work and challenge those serious sniffers with Continuing K9 Nose Work.

Can't commit to an entire six-week class? We have a solution! Our upcoming one-hour intensive classes in Oak Park are designed for  people with busy schedules and dogs who could use a training boost.

Jumping Greetings 101: Learn how to combat jumping with management techniques, alternative behaviors and rewarding good manners when they happen.

Stay 101: Learn how to get your dog to stay in different environments, with lots of distractions and until you give them the cue to get up.

Check out our entire Spring I class schedule. Classes start at the beginning of March, but our small, personalized classes fill up fast, so don't delay!

Don't see a class offered in your area yet? We'll come to you! Check out our in-home Private Training packages offered seven days a week to fit your schedule.

Resolutions for your Dog

Most new year resolutions are thrown out by the time Super Bowl kicks off, so why not start fresh this week? The year may not be so new anymore, but any time is a good time to set positive goals for your dog.

Need some ideas? Our trainers discussed their own resolutions for their dogs and the list is long! Watch our latest Google+ Hangout here.
