Kyle City Council approves entertainment complex
Kyle City Council approved an economic development incentive package on June 20 for an entertainment complex that will feature a movie theater, bowling alley, sports bar and restaurant. "It feels really good," said Diana Blank, economic development director for the city of Kyle. "We've been working on it for a long time." The project has been in the works since 2007, Blank said. According to the city's website, the development will be located behind in the Villages of Kyle Shopping Center near Target. According to the site, the development deal includes tax rebates and waivers of the city's development fees and will be worth about $1.1 million over 15 years. According to the site, construction is slated to begin later this year and the facility could be open by summer 2014. Read more.
