Marketing Specialist Position Open

The Kyle Chamber is seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist/In-House Graphic Designer. Must be available Saturdays and some evenings.
Applicants must be able to:
- Compose, schedule, and update social media posts and announcements.
- Develop and maintain positive public relations with emphasis on customer service.
- Play the leadership roles of creating marketing collateral for the Chamber and events as needed, ads as needed, other supportive materials both related to the Chamber and Tourism as needed.
- Knowledge of computers and computer applications including spreadsheets, databases, word, processing, photo editing, graphic design.

New 2013 Guide to Kyle is out!
Each year the Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce receives hundreds of requests from visitors, newcomers, HOA's, and tourism centers for information about our "Simply Charming" city. The Kyle Chamber meets these requests by mailing out relocation/visitors packets. This year we expect to mail out about 1200 relocation packets all over the country.
The Kyle Chamber is offering members the exclusive opportunity to promote in our relocation packets. The cost for a 1-year sponsorship is $250. Sponsors can provide promotional items such as brochures, flyers, calendars and other small, flat items you may wish to include in our packet. You may also include a welcome letter (on company letterhead) mentioning any discounts or special offers! Participants must provide 300 of each promotional item. The Kyle Area Chamber of Commerce proudly features On Track Xperience as this week's Member Monday! On Track Xperience is Central Texas' premier racing facility, located in Kyle, Texas just South of Austin. It is the only place where you and your friends can get behind the wheel of high powered ProKarts with speeds in excess of 65 mph!
We caught up with Lynn Phillips, General Manager of OTX, and she had this to say about her membership, "Being a Chamber member give us the ability to connect and interact with other local businesses, not only on a professional level but on a personal level. We are honored to be part of such a great organization. The services they provide to local business, like ourselves, is awesome and we are very thankful."
