December 10, 2014

Oh, the weather outside is frightful... but inside Wellesley Books it is warm, cozy and full of busy booksellers. We are ready to help you find the perfect book, happily wrap your gifts, and probably make you laugh at our holiday punchiness at the register! It is our favorite time of year, so come on in and let us be part of your holidays.

If you are looking for a great gift for the guy in your life, how about a ticket to Bill's Book Group for Guys? The next meeting is on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 7:00pm when they will discuss All That Is by James Salter. It's a great group of readers led by our owner, Bill Kohli, with discussions that are always lively and engaging.

This chipper holiday book video comes from Bloomsbury Publishing: "We wanted to make a video that reminded people of the power of reading and the importance of great writing. We realized that the authors we publish--from Shakespeare to Roland Barthes, from Neil Gaiman to Elizabeth Gilbert, from Khaled Hosseini to J.K. Rowling -- summarized that message better than we ever could. So here's to our authors and here's to that feeling that only reading a great book can give."
