Bunny Wellesley Books is such a warm haven, we even had a bunny sleepover last weekend. This little cutie hopped in the front door on Saturday and decided to stay awhile. The Sunday crew brought in a carrot and some cabbage to lure our little buddy back outside. Here he or she is relaxing next to the planters after the grand adventure.

Where's Waldo? Where's Waldo? In Wellesley, of course! The famous children's book character in the striped shirt and black-rimmed specs is visiting twenty-five local businesses from July 1-30. Those who spot him can win prizes, including stickers, book coupons and more.  Pick up your Where's Waldo? passport at Wellesley Books and start looking for Waldo in Wellesley! On Thursday, July 31 at 4:00pm, join us for a party including refreshments and a raffle!

Sukey Forbes On Tuesday, July 8 at 7pm we have a very special event with author Sukey Forbes in honor of her new book, The Angel in My Pocket. When Sukey Forbes lost her six-year-old daughter, Charlotte, her life felt as if it were shattered forever. Descended from two distinguished New England families, Forbes was raised in a rarefied -- if eccentric -- life of privilege. On the family's private island enclave off Cape Cod, apparitions have always been as common as the servants who once walked the back halls. But the "afterlife" took on new meaning once Forbes dipped into the world of clairvoyants to reconnect with Charlotte.

Thursday, July 17th at 7:00pm, come meet  the amazing Stephanie Evanovich when she will introduce her new novel, The Sweet Spot. This sizzling story brings back everyone's favorite couple from her earlier Big Girl Panties: hunky professional baseball player Chase Walker and his sassy wife Amanda. Stephanie Evanovich is a full-fledged Jersey girl who attended New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts, performed with several improvisational troupes, and acted in a few small-budget movies, all in preparation for the greatest job she ever had: raising her two sons. Now a full-time writer, she's an avid sports fan who holds a black belt in tae kwon do.

Congratulations to the winners of our I Found the Mockingbird Contest: Isabel, Drew, Elsie, Madison, Penny. and Olivia. They each won a free copy of I Kill the Mockingbird by Paul Acampora. We know their summer reading will be off to a great start!
