And just like the NCAA's, we want you to be invested in the progression of the tournament. So come to the store, select your picks for the winner, and you'll be eligible for some big prizes.  More details will follow soon. Check out more information and the finalists on our website.

The Martian The Martian
by Andy Weir

Andy Weir's debut novel will remind you of Michael Crichton in his prime. Weir gives you great science, clever likeable characters and a believably taut story of a botanist/engineer, disco hating astronaut left for dead on Mars. Needless to say his character Mark Watney is now My Favorite Martian.
One More Thing One More Thing
by B.J. Novak

Sometimes you read a collection of clever stories & you think that yes, over a period of years, writers can come up with a few good ideas. It would take many lifetimes for even the best of writers to come up with the fantastically warped tales that BJ Novak has put together here. I'm used to being the most clever guy in the room, but I have yet to share a space with BJ. I'm sure that when we do meet that we'll become the best of friends. Totally worth reading this book!
A Well-Tempered Heart A Well-Tempered Heart
by
Jan-Philipp Sendker
A Well-Tempered Heart is a wonderful sequel to best selling The Art of Hearing Heartbeats.  Julia returns to Burma where she and her half brother, U Ba, journey across the country to alleviate one mother's pain, find a missing son and discover the real meaning of love and forgiveness in the process.  You will lose yourself in Sendker's breathtaking storytelling!
Glitter and Glue Glitter and Glue
by Kelly Corrigan

I loved this charming account of Kelly Corrigan's post-college stint as a nanny in Australia. As she struggled to care for her spirited young charges, she was surprised to find herself channeling the voice of her own opinionated mother. Her candid musings on the sometimes complicated relationships between mothers and daughters are a delight to read.

Dogs of the Week

  • Tucker & Junebug

Tucker & Junebug

Former Dog of the Week and frequent customer Tucker was intrigued when he heard of a new hound in our bookstore family, so he came in to Wellesley to welcome my newly adopted year-old hound mix Junebug. Tucker, a Walker Foxhound, is also a rescue from Tennessee. They greeted each other like long-lost friends, and Junebug howled at the door when Tucker took his leave. You can read Tucker's take on the evening on his blog.
