Greetings!
Winter veggies and garlic have been planted and some of the beds have been covered with burlap. The geraniums have been pulled into the greenhouse and our new rain barrels have been drained to prevent freezing. We are officially ready for winter!
Speaking of which, the Winter/Spring activity guide will be in your mailbox on December 13, with registration starting on December 16. Look for our Farm activities to start cooking in March.
Our Gingerbread Workshop filled so we added another section on Sunday, December 8th. There are a few spots left in the class, so sign up soon! I'm looking forward to seeing what the kids come up with.
We have one more Kids in the Kitchen class before Chef Laura takes a hiatus until March. The kids will be making Macaroni and Cheese and Lemon Sorbet. I overheard one of our students say to his sister on the way out, "We should SO do this again!"
Have a wonderful Holiday Season and stop by the farm to say hello. It's beautiful in winter too!
Warm Regards,
