Come Outside and Play!

 Greetings!

The cooler, wetter weather is here. Time to harvest the last of the tomatoes and start putting the garden to bed.  This is a great time to visit the farm.  We have classes and workshops in the heated classroom and the cozy farmhouse.

Barnyard Tales is still going strong.  Miss Lynne has indoor activities planned for those really blustery days, so come on out and join us!

We also have Monday mornings set aside for Garden Babies.  This is a great way to meet other new moms and get some fresh air.

Fall classes and workshops are underway.  We've revamped our cooking program to include preschoolers and made a couple classes just for teens.  Check out this link for more information.

Due to the popularity of our summer fiber arts camps, we have developed a two day workshop for 7 to 14 year olds for October 3rd and 4th.  This is a great opportunity to spend some time at the farm on no school days. Our new Fall Gardening and Fiber Arts Workshop will fill fast so sign up soon!

Later in the month, we have a No School Garden Day

for the younger set.  Kids 5-12 will enjoy farm related crafts and activities while learning about organic gardening.

The pumpkins are growing huge in our Mandala garden.  We will be harvesting and decorating them on October 26th during our No Carve Pumpkin Decorating class. Ages 7 and up are welcome to register.

Fall is a wonderful time to enjoy the beauty of the Farm.  See you in the garden!
