This Summer was amazing! We had such beautiful weather for camps and classes. It was great to have so many children enjoy the garden. I want to extend a big thank you to all the volunteers that helped with camps or with garden maintenance. You really made a difference!
We are just putting the finishing touches on the planning for our Luscher Farm Open House. The Farm Partners have put their heads together to come up with some fun and educational offerings. The petting zoo will be back and so will the very popular smoothie tasting. Please stop by on September 7th between 11 am and 4 pm. For more information about this event click here.
Fall registration is underway and classes are starting to fill. The Luscher Farm Children's Garden is offering some exciting new classes this Fall. We've revamped our cooking program to include preschoolers and made a couple classes just for teens. Check out this link for more information.
Due to the popularity of our summer fiber arts camps, we have developed a two day workshop for 7 to 14 year olds for October 3rd and 4th. This is a great opportunity to spend some time at the farm on no school days. Our new Fall Gardening and Fiber Arts Workshop will fill fast so sign up soon!
Later in the month we have a No School Garden Day
for the younger set. Kids 5-12 will enjoy farm related crafts and activities while learning about organic gardening.
The pumpkins are growing huge in our Mandala garden. We will be harvesting and decorating them on October 26th during our No Carve Pumpkin Decorating class. Ages 7 and up are welcome to register.
Fall is a wonderful time to enjoy the beauty of the Farm. See you in the garden!
