Come Outside and Play!

 Greetings!

Things really start happening at the Farm this month.  We welcome back storyteller extraordinaire, Lynne Bacon.  Lynne will be at the Farm on Wednesday starting April 10th.  If you haven't been to Barnyard Tales with Lynne you are missing a treat!  Bring your 3 to 8 year old to bring to the Children's Garden on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 am. You'll both have loads of fun and learn something too!  Stick around for Farm Explorers for more Farm based fun.

The 6-12 year old set won't want to miss Birds and Bugs at Luscher on April 20th.  There are so many interesting creatures out here. We will be having fun while we learn about beneficial insects and birds that help u sin the garden.

Kids in The Kitchen is going strong, April's class is almost full! the kids will be making Veggie Lasagna and Blue Ribbon Chocolate Chip cookies.

The Luscher Farm Family Dinner for April is Spaghetti and Meat Balls with a Pear Tart for dessert. Yum!

Chef Laura will also be teaching Cake Decorating on April 27th.  Class participants will bake small cakes and decorate them with edible flowers and berries!

Janet Boulis will also be starting another series of Knitting for Beginners classes for kids 8-15.  These classes are held in the Farmhouse on Sunday afternoons.  Janet is a warm, patient instructor.  We are lucky to have her!

We are still looking for volunteers to help us in the garden and with our Field Trip program. Please contact me if you are interested in getting involved.

Sincerely,
