  • Do some research to see if your local leaders have issued a resolutions in support of TPLA. If they have not urge them to learn about the Transfer of Public Lands and to issue a similar resolution. A great place to start is the Resolutions page on the new ALC website.

  • Attached is a Candidate Questionnaire for you to use in your area to discover the depth of knowledge and commitment of your local candidates.

    "Be it RESOLVED, That the Republican National Committee calls upon the federal government to honor to all willing western states the same statehood promise to transfer title to the public lands that it honored with all states east of Colorado..."- RNC Resolution in Support of Western States Taking Back Public Lands

     

    While American Lands Council is a nonpartisan organization, we are please to announce that the Republican National Convention has issued a resolution in support of the western states taking back their public lands. This resolution was adopted by the RNC on January 24, 2014. This is a great leap forward in making the Transfer of Public Lands a reality.

     

    The Resolution can be found on the American Lands Council website as well as on the RNC website. A link to the document can also be found below.
