WHERE WE'VE BEEN
The month of August kept us traveling all around the country, spreading information about the Transfer of Public Lands as The Only Solution Big Enough to deal with the pressing issues of our nation. Multiple presentations in Chicago, Georgia, Idaho, Montana, Washington and Utah gave us exciting opportunities to unite efforts throughout the various states, both east and west to bring about the transfer of public lands by leveraging our jurisdictional powers. We are excited about the numerous states, including those in the east, who are preparing legislation for the upcoming legislative sessions to bring about this critical transfer of our public lands.
While speaking in Montana, I had the opportunity of spending a few minutes with Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. Justice Scalia, in response to the "Federal Fault Line" Map showing more than 50% of all lands in the West under federal control exclaimed, "Why does the federal government have all that land? It needs to get rid of title to that land." We couldn't agree more!

In October, we are holding a multi-state conference where legislators, attorneys general, commissioners, think-tanks and grassroots organizations will meet and coordinate efforts across state lines.
This conference will be an opportunity for key people in the states to hear from experts in the areas of state vs. federal land management, educational campaigning, legislative efforts and the legal/constitutional facts concerning the Transfer of Public Lands Act; and most importantly to connect with one another in coordinating states' efforts.
