Greetings!

As summer time is drawing near, many of us in the West are beginning to think about forest fires.  It's hard not to when last year fires destroyed over 7 MILLION acres before August was even over.

In this video, Steve Brink (Vice Pres. of the California Forestry Association) reveals how government policies, the endangered species act, and extremist environmentalists are destroying our national forests, the species that live on them, our lumber industry and jobs, and the lives of thousands of America families. This is his talk at the October 20, 2012 Defend Rural America(tm) launch in Lodi, California.

This week, we hope you will take the time to:

  • Call your county commissioners' office and find out if they have joined the American Lands Council.  If they have, tell them THANK YOU!  If they have not...ask them, "Why not?"
  • Share this video with 10 friends who you believe will really watch it.
  • Have at least one conversation with a friend or associate and discuss how the TPLA can help us protect our natural resources in ways the federal government never could.
  • As always, share your thoughts and experiences with us.  We look forward to hearing how you are leveraging your influence in your neck of the woods....um....no pun intended.

Sincerely,

Becky Ivory
