In addition, we are humbled and grateful for the overwhelming support from volunteers. Without the support of the entire community the Festival would not be possible!

Business After Hours at Legs Inn is August 31st! 
NEW DATE! Join us for the next Regional Business After Hours (BAH) at Legs Inn on August 31st from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. 
One of the most anticipated BAH's of the year is the annual Legs Inn gathering of the area chambers. Join Petoskey Regional Chamber, Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce, Cheboygan Area Chamber of Commerce and Mackinaw City Chamber of Commerce for the breathtaking view and great food!

PRCC August Business After Hours sponsors include: Alpine Propane and Harbor Care Associates, Harbor Springs Area Chamber sponsors include, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and Harbor Springs Festival of the Book. Cheboygan Area Chamber sponsors include Shepler's Mackinac Island Ferry and First Community Bank. Mackinac City Chamber sponsors include Citizens National Bank and Star Line Mackinac Island Ferry.

Admission is $7 for Chamber members and $12 for not-yet members. Please note, as this is a Regional Chamber event, no punch cards or passes will be accepted.

Be a Part of the Sept. 15th Golf Outing Sponsors at Hidden River Golf & Casting Club
The 21st Annual Golf Outing provides promotional opportunities for your business or organization.  We hope you will consider supporting this important chamber event which draws 144 golfers each year.  This years event takes place Thursday, September 15, 2016 and will be hosted by Hidden River Golf and Casting Club. 

Here are Seven ways you can get involved:
  1. Enter a team (foursome) to play in the outing. Only a few team openings are left. Download the Team Registration Form
  2. Be a hole sponsor - for $125 you can have staff at the hole to greet the golfers. You receive much publicity as a hole               sponsor.
  3. Be an event sponsor - for $100 you can pick your event - longest putt, longest drive, closest to the hole in 2 and                     receive much publicity as event sponsor.
  4. Donate items for the golfer goodie bag (pens, coupons, sun screen, golf towels, golf tees, hand sanitizer)
  5. Donate a door prize (value of $25, gift certificate, shirt, sweatshirt, product, gas card)
  6. Donate an item for the Raffle (golf club, golf bag, spa package, gift basket, hotel stay, dinner)
  7. Donate an item for the live auction ($200 plus value)
Chemical Bank is the Marquee sponsor of the annual golf outing. Registration opens at 11:00 a.m. and the shotgun start is at 12:30 p.m. Cost per foursome is $400 and includes box lunch, 18 holes and cart, driving range balls, heavy appetizers, door prizes, raffle chances, live auction and awards ceremony.

All sponsors and donations receive recognition in emails leading up to the event, on the website and in the golfer program.

Northmen Stadium Open House Wednesday August 24th
The Public Schools of Petoskey are inviting the public to an open house Wednesday night at the new Northmen Stadium.  The event will run from 5 until 8 p.m.  School officials are currently watching the weather forecast and if weather is an issue, they will be forced to postpone the open house.  Check the schools' web site for updates.
Next Make The Most of Your Membership is September 9th at Stafford's Perry Hotel
We hope you will join us for a "Make the Most of You Membership" Free Breakfast Friday, September 9, 2016. The FREE breakfast is designed to help potential members and members understand what the chamber does to help businesses and organizations in the area and how to utilize the chamber to help your business succeed. It is from 8-9:30 am at Stafford's Perry Hotel, Friday, Sept. 9.  
 
You will get a solid overview of the work of your chamber and learn about opportunities to promote your business. It is a great opportunity to meet other Chamber members too!
Are you a potential member?  Make plans to attend.   Are you a new member?  Make plans to attend.  Been a member for a long time, but could use a refresher? Make plans to attend. New staff at your office? Send them so they can get involved.
