At the PRCC Board of Directors Meeting in July, the board established the Nominating Committee of Tom Adams, Lisa Lemans, Margaret Bowers, Mary-Anne Ponti, Bill Marshall, Jim Bartlett, and Derik Mott-Bragg. This committee will consider nominations for the PRCC Board of Directors for terms beginning in 2017. All candidates must be active members in good standing with the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce. To nominate yourself, or another individual, send an email to Carlin Smith at carlin@petoskeychamber.com and share the nominee's qualifications for board service. Please use the word, "Nomination" in the subject line of the email. Nominations must be received by 10:00 a.m. on Wed. Aug. 10th.  LIGHTS OUT Northern Michigan! Residents, businesses and visitors, join us in turning off the lights throughout the North on August 12th from 10:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Emmet County is asking you to help make the sky as dark as possible for an incredible night of stargazing and meteor-watching. We are hosting the Lights Out Across the Bay and Lights Out Across the Straits challenges. Here's how it works: Between the hour of 10-11 p.m., please turn off your lights inside and out. The Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce invites you to attend the 14th Annual Festival on the Bay, August 19-20, 2016 at the Petoskey, Michigan waterfront. Every year, visitors enjoy great music inside the Entertainment Tent and a fun Children's Area all weekend. Other activities include Chalk the Walk, A Silent Disco, Wine on the Water, The BIG Art Show, a Petting Zoo and so much more!
Don't forget volunteering is a great way to be part of a truly fun environment while supporting our community. Many shifts are still available! If you would like to help, the festival can always use volunteers for various shifts, and being a volunteer at the festival provides great exposure for your business or organization and team building.

Registration is open for the 21st Annual Chamber Golf Outing for teams from last year, don't miss out! Teams that did not participate last year can complete and return the registration form right away and be added to a waiting list. After Aug. 11 the number of team openings will be determined and those spots will be filled from the wait list. Download the Team Registration Form.
Registration opens at 11:00 a.m. and the shotgun start is at 12:30 p.m. Cost per foursome is $400 and includes box lunch, 18 holes and cart, driving range balls, heavy appetizers, door prizes, raffle chances, live auction and awards ceremony.
