On April 12th a representative from Collette Travel will be in Petoskey to show what it would be like to tour the U.K. by rail. The presentation is a preview to a group travel opportunity this October hosted by the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce and Andrew Kan Travel. You can travel with other Petoskey area residents through Edinburgh, York, and London and see such sites as Edinburgh Castle, St. Andrews, Buckingham Palace, and Windsor Castle. The presentation is free and without obligation. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Resort Room at Stafford's Perry Hotel.

Annual Airport After Hours at Pellston Regional Airport
The grand prize at the 13th Annual Airport After Hours will be a $500 gift card for Delta Airlines courtesy of Emmet County and the Air Service Task Force. The Task Force is the host for this event to be held Wed. April 13th, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pellston Regional Airport. Admission is just $7.00/person and includes hors d'oeuvres from Hoppies Landing as well a cash bar. Mark you calendars for the 2016 Petoskey Business Expo on Thursday April 21st at the Odawa Casino from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. in Ovation Hall. This is the biggest Petoskey Business After Hours (BAH) Networking event of the year and is combined with the Business Expo. Admission is $7 for everyone and the public is invited. The Expo will feature 75 businesses and organizations exhibiting, and eight restaurants offering a "Taste of Petoskey." Another great part of the fun is all the great door prizes you could win! Connecting Women in Business (CWIB) proud to announce the launch of its summer 2016 series GO Grants for Girls.
These Go Grants are for activities June 1, 2016 - August 31, 2016.
Applications must be postmarked by April 15, 2016. GO Grants, or Girls Outreach Grants, reach out to young girls in our area who have an idea and passion to try something new. Grants will range from $100 to $500, and can be used as resources in any field of endeavor.
