Michigan is participating today in the Presidential Primary Election as the country narrows down the candidates for President of the United States. 
Make sure Michigan's voice is heard by voting today at your typical voting location.  Voting is easy, select the party in which you'd prefer to vote, then vote for the candidate of your choice within that party.

Tonight's presentation on the chamber's Group Travel event, a Rail Tour of the U.K., has been postponed.  The preview of the trip has been rescheduled for April 12, 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday March 22 CWIB Focuses on Relationship Marketing
Get registered today for the March 22 CWIB Connecting Women in Business luncheon featuring a relationship marketing roundtable with Rachel North of My North Media, Diane Hansell of Lite 96.3 and Julie Joles of Mitchell Graphics. 

Not all customers are equal and to get the most from your best customers, you need to know them and market directly to them. Building a relationship and putting the right message in front of them requires a creative strategy and smart tactics. This roundtable will give you ideas and proven practices to make that happen for your business. 
The luncheon will be at the Inn at Bay Harbor. The lunch will be a Chopped Salad with romaine, chicken, bacon, cucumber, avocado, cherry tomato, boiled egg, peppers, carrots and smoked cheddar. Served with a choice of Sriracha Ranch or Bleu Cheese Dressing. Luncheon rolls with butter.  Bananas Foster Cheesecake for dessert.
You can request a Vegan/Dairy Free option when you register online for the luncheon. It will be Roasted Pepper stuffed with Quinoa and Vegetable Medley.
The Cost to attend is $15 for CWIB members and $20 for all others. Register online and pre-pay by credit card so you can avoid lines at registration. Please note any cancelations after 5 p.m. March 18, 2016, or any no-shows the day of the event will be invoiced.

We had more than 40 at our Hot Topics event last Friday featuring a conversation on key state issues.  Workforce will be the topic of our next event to be held Tue. March 29 at 11:30 a.m.

Go Grants Help Support Girls Summer Activities - Applications Now Available!
Connecting Women in Business (CWIB) proud to announce the launch of its summer 2016 series GO Grants for Girls. 
These Go Grants are for activities June 1, 2015 - August 31, 2015.

GO Grants, or Girls Outreach Grants, reach out to young girls in our area who have an idea and passion to try something new. Grants will range from $100 to $500, and can be used as resources in any field of endeavor.
