State of the Community Luncheon
Wow! More than 325 of you attended our 11th Annual State of the Community Luncheon last Friday. That was a record crowd to hear our own Carlin Smith introduce the chamber's new Thriving Petoskey program. And to hear David Zechman of McLaren Northern Michigan discuss the urgent need for recruiting health care professionals to our region. Jill O'Neill told the audience about the all new Great Lakes Center for the Arts coming to Bay Harbor. And DJ of the Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation urged us to check out spotlightonemmet.org, a new web site showcasing the status and work of our non-profit organizations in Emmet County. To see the Thriving Petoskey videos, and to read the State of the Community Reports of 33-agencies in the area, click here.
