Annual Meeting, January 19th at City Park Grill- Downtown Petoskey
In accordance with its by-laws, the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will conduct its Annual Meeting on Tue. Jan. 19, 11:30 a.m. at the City Park Grill. At the meeting, the board will consider the 2016 Budget, the 2016 Strategic Plan, and the board's meeting schedule for 2016. Chamber President Carlin Smith will provide an annual report based on activities and financials for 2015. The general membership is welcome to attend the annual meeting. If you wish to attend, it is imperative that you let us know in advance so that we can prepare the appropriate seating. If you wish to have lunch, there will be a $15 fee. The 11th Annual State of the Community Luncheon, sponsored by Chase, will be held Fri. Feb.5 in Ovation Hall at the Odawa Casino. Connecting Women in Business is January 26 at Stafford's Perry Hotel
Connecting Women in Business January 26 Program to focus on arts in the area - presented by Liz Ahrens of Crooked Tree Arts Center. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 am. The luncheon and presentation will begin at noon and end at 1 pm. Cost is $15 for CWIB members or $20 for others. The luncheon is at Stafford's Perry Hotel.
"From Art History to Executive Director of an Arts Center" Learn about Liz's journey since her first art history class at Michigan State University in 1980 to her present position as Executive Director of Crooked Tree Arts Center. She will share how the arts and creativity have played a major role in her life. Liz will remind us of how the arts are part of our everyday lives--even if we think we aren't "artsy"--which is Liz's least favorite word! Liz Ahrens is the Executive Director of the Crooked Tree Arts Center of Petoskey and Traverse City.
Lunch will be a Bavarian Ham & Swiss Sandwich on a Pretzel Bun with Red Skin Potato Salad and a Pickle. Fruit Cobbler for dessert. Vegan and Gluten Free guests can request the Vegan and Gluten Free Veggie Wrap Sandwich. Please note when you register online.
Be a sponsor of this event. It includes one lunch admission, plus a covered table for display so you can interact with the attendees during registration/networking time.
