Annual Meeting, January 19th at City Park Grill- Downtown Petoskey
In accordance with its by-laws, the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will conduct its Annual Meeting on Tue. Jan. 19, 11:30 a.m. at the City Park Grill.  At the meeting, the board will consider the 2016 Budget, the 2016 Strategic Plan, and the board's meeting schedule for 2016.  Chamber President Carlin Smith will provide an annual report based on activities and financials for 2015.  The general membership is welcome to attend the annual meeting.  If you wish to attend, it is imperative that you let us know in advance so that we can prepare the appropriate seating.  If you wish to have lunch, there will be a $15 fee.  To reserve a seat at the annual meeting, contact Nikki Devitt at nikki@petoskeychamber.com or 231-347-4150.
Connecting Women in Business is January 26 at Stafford's Perry Hotel
Connecting Women in Business January 26 Program to focus on arts in the area - presented by Liz Ahrens of Crooked Tree Arts Center. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 am. The luncheon and presentation will begin at noon and end at 1 pm. Cost is $15 for CWIB members or $20 for others. The luncheon is at Stafford's Perry Hotel.

It includes one lunch admission, plus a covered table for display so you can interact with the attendees during registration/networking time.  Sponsors also have the opportunity put information on the tables. 28 Days of February Plus One - Arts, Dining and Entertainment Celebration
In February, 2016, Petoskey will celebrate the leap year with a month-long arts and entertainment festival entitled "The 28 Days of February Plus One."  Area organizations and businesses, including North Central Michigan College, Crooked Tree Arts Center, the Petoskey District Library, Downtown Petoskey, the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce, Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra, Little Bay Bands of Odawa Indians, Bay View Association, Petoskey News-Review, and more are working collaboratively to create a calendar and promotion for events happening throughout the month of February.  We hope that this month-long event will become an annual tradition.
 
There will be a special Graphic edition with a calendar of events and information on January 29 which is distributed in area hotels, ski resorts, partner and sponsor locations and area restaurants. There will also be a page on the Chamber website for more detailed information and links to sponsor and supporter sites, a Facebook page and full media promotion of events and the booklet.
