Business After Hours this Thursday at Sagamore's, 5-7 p.m.
The Next Business After Hours is Thursday, September 10th at Sagamore's featuring the menu of Vintage Chophouse - Wine Bar at The Inn at Bay Harbor from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Business After Hours is a well-attended "end-of-the-work-day" networking event designed to help participants make new business contacts, develop potential new customers, and build exposure for their businesses. Admission cost is $7 for members; $12 for not-yet members. 

This month's event is our annual Health Theme event and our sponsors include Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI, McLaren Northern Michigan, and Dermatology Associates of Northern Michigan.  

In addition to great networking opportunities, along with hors d'oeuvres, cash-bar refreshments you can win fabulous door prizes as well!

Connecting Women in Business September 22nd - Register Now!
Register for Connecting Women in Business luncheon on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 - Featuring Diane Dakins of the Petoskey Area Visitors Bureau and Beth Eckerle, Director of Communications of Emmet County.  Register online now

You will be amazed as you learn of all the ways both Diane and Beth promote our beautiful area to visitors, potential residents as well as residents. Just a few quick facts - Diane has grown the Petoskey Area Visitors Bureau page to have over 60,000 likes!   Have you been to the Headlands International Dark Sky Park this year?  Beth says over 40,000 people have visited the park since May.

The luncheon is at Petoskey Bay View Country Club.  Registration and networking begin at 11:30 am. The luncheon and presentation will begin at noon and end at 1 pm. Cost is $15 for CWIB members or $20 for not-yet-members.
Encore Financial Group and Grand Traverse Ophthalmology Clinic are sponsors for the lunch.  and PNC Bank is the marquee sponsor and Lite 96.3 is the exclusive radio sponsor of CWIB.

Be a sponsor of this event for only $150. It includes one lunch admission, plus a covered table for display so you can interact with the attendees during registration/networking time.  Sponsors also have the opportunity put information on the tables. Sponsors receive two minutes of microphone time at the end of the event. A sponsor can also offer a door prize. Average attendance is 75-85 women.  Call Lisa for details 347-4150.

Back to School Time!
Welcome Soccer Teams - This Weekend!
The Autumn Blast Soccer Tournament will take place in Petoskey September 12th and 13th
The tournament is hosted by the Petoskey Youth Soccer Association.  Games take place mostly at the Click Road and River Road fields.  Over 122-teams will be in town for the tournament.  Your chamber of commerce will once again provide concierge services to these guests at their information kiosk to be set up at the Click Road facility.  Chamber members who have special promotions for the soccer weekend, or would like to promote their businesses are welcome to supply us with brochures or flyers (50 copies is ideal).  Please deliver them to the chamber office by Friday at 12:00 p.m. or call 231-347-4150 with any questions. 
If your business has a marquee, we encourage you to share a message to welcome our soccer guests to our community.
