Leadership Little Traverse Deadline is July 17th

If you, or someone from your organization is planning to apply for the next class of Leadership Little Traverse, it's time to get started on your application.  The deadline for applications is Fri. July 17th. Information about the program and a copy of the application is available here.  LLT is a leadership training program designed to inspire the next generation of leaders in the Little Traverse Bay area.  The program begins in September and continues with monthly sessions through May.  Limited seats are available; applicants are chosen based on the strength of their application.

Manthei Honored for Win By Loosing

Representatives from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce stopped by Manthei, Incorporated last week to honor their first-place team in the annual Win by Losing Competition.  The weight-loss competition is hosted by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan the Health Care Task Force of the Petoskey Regional and Harbor Springs Area Chambers of Commerce.  The team from Manthei won first-place, statewide, in the 11-29 participant category.  The team lost 142.5 lbs. for a percentage of 5.87%.  Team members received a trophy and t-shirts from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.

Art in the Park - Saturday June 18th - Mark Your Calendars
Art in the Park is July 18, 2015, and artists from all over the United States will descend upon Downtown Petoskey to show off their wares. For the 30th year, approximately 125 booths will grace Pennsylvania Park, with items ranging from pottery to jewelry, from paintings to photographs, and much more. The show is rain or shine, so come prepared to shop!
