Leadership Little Traverse Honors Jan Mancinelli
|
Jan Mancinelli was honored with the Fourth Annual Leadership Star Award presented by Leadership Little Traverse. The award, a ceramic tile from Sturgeon River Pottery, acknowledges Mancinelli's work in developing future leaders, leading in her profession, serving her community, and enhancing the area's quality of life. She was presented the award Friday at a luncheon at Stafford's Perry Hotel attended by around 50-people. Mancinelli recently retired from the Women's Resource Center after serving that organization for 36-years. She has also served on many boards, commissions, and community causes including Emmet 20/20, Resort Township Planning Commission, Little Traverse Conservancy, Human Services Coordinating Body, Leadership Little Traverse, and the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce to name a few. Jan (center) is pictured with LLT Steering Committee members Anne McDevitt, Steve Spencer, Carlin Smith, and Lisa Blanchard.
