Our goal is to keep growing this community-wide event and get more people smart commuting year round. We have great sponsorship opportunities available. Please contact Karen McCue kmccue70@gmail.com or the Trails Council if you have additional questions.

Of Special Note

The Fox Charlevoix team and its mascot, Fairfox, had a great time supporting breast cancer awareness and research at the 21st Annual Sue DeYoung/Judy Edger Breast Cancer 5K this month! The event honors two courageous local women: Sue DeYoung, a young mother of four children who passed away in 1992, and Judy Edger, who was a driving force behind this event until she passed away in March 1999.

The money raised goes toward the Charlevoix County Circle of Strength foundation and the Health Department of Northwest Michigan to provide Charlevoix County residents with cancer-related screenings and treatment. The event has raised more than $150,000 since its inception. Also, we have nice Facebook album with the photos from the event. Click here to view photos from the event.
