Celebrate the administrative professional at your office or organization - bring them along to enjoy a nice lunch and presentation.

 

Meagan Krzywosinski, the Chairman of Hospitality the Little Traverse, way will discuss the program and why investing in guest-relations training is critical to the success of our communities.

The Hospitality the Chamber's Little Traverse Way program focuses on the following:

  1. Staff Training while reinforcing the community's hospitality culture
  2. Measuring our service quality to assure that we continue to exceed the expectations of our guests.
  3. Recognizing those businesses who regularly exceed their guests expectations. 
  4. Engage area residents in the practice of welcoming and assisting our guests.

The luncheon is at Sagamore's Restaurant at the Inn at Bay Harbor. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 am. The luncheon and presentation will begin at noon and end at 1 pm. Cost is $15 for CWIB members or $20 for not-yet-members. 


Lunch will be a Blackened Salmon Spinach Salad (with roasted pear, smoked bleu cheese, spinach, pepper caramel dressing and pickled beets). Dessert will be a Chocolate Molten Lava Cake.  Please call the chamber if you require a vegetarian lunch option.


Trillium Salon and Spa and Bay Tennis and Fitness are sponsors of the luncheon.  PNC Bank is the marquee sponsor and Lite 96.3 is the exclusive radio sponsor of CWIB.


Be a sponsor of this event for only $100. It includes one lunch admission, plus a covered table for display so you can interact with the attendees during registration/networking time.  Sponsors also have the opportunity put information on the tables. Sponsors receive two minutes of microphone time at the end of the event. A sponsor can also offer a door prize. Average attendance is 75-85 women.  Call Lisa for details 347-4150.

Airport After Hours April 30th - Win Round Trip Tickets!
You could win air fare for two to Chicago or a $500 Gift Card for Delta Airlines just for stopping by the 12th Annual Airport After Hours hosted by the Air Service Task Force.  Airport After Hours will be held Thu. April 30, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pellston Regional Airport.  The grand prize at the event will be two round-trip tickets to Chicago aboard North Country Sky, the new air service that will begin June 24th at Pellston.  Second prize will be a $500 gift card for Delta Airlines offered by Emmet County and the Air Service Task Force.  Event sponsors include:

 

The Airport After Hours is a regional business networking event promoted by the visitors bureaus and chambers of commerce that comprise the Air Service Task Force including:  St. Ignace, Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, Cheboygan, Indian River, Harbor Springs, and Petoskey.  Admission is $7.00 per person which includes hors d'oeuvres from Hoppies Landing and a cash bar.  Because the event is a fund-raiser for the Air Service Task Forces, punch cards and comp passes from specific chambers will not be accepted.  No purchase is necessary to be eligible for prizes; for complete contest rules contact the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce at 231-347-4150, or carlin@petoskey.com.

Chamber Alliance Launches Speaker Series
Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce members are invited to the inaugural Speakers Series hosted by the Northern Michigan Chamber Alliance.  State Budget Director John Roberts will be in Traverse City on Fri. May 1 to discuss the state budget process and how the budget might impact businesses.  The program runs from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the NMC Hagerty Center, 715 E. Front Street in Traverse City.  There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required.
