Construction on US-31 Underway

Construction on US-31 from Camp Daggett Road to US-131 began today and is scheduled to continue until the end of September.

Please be patient and cautious as you drive through the work zone and detour as there will be many changes to the speed limits and traffic control (such as stop signs, lane configurations and traffic signals)

The initial primary focus of construction, between Eppler Road and US-131, is to be completed before the 4th of July weekend.

From Eppler Road to US-31

Stage 1 - Eastbound US-31 traffic detoured onto Eppler and Sheridan Roads to US-131 and only one westbound US-31 lane will be shifted to the south side of US-31.  The entire north side of US-31 will be built first.

Stage 2 - Westbound US-31 traffic will be shifted to the north side of the roadway, eastbound traffic will continue to be detoured, and the south side of US-31 will be constructed

Stage 3 - A top course of asphalt will be placed in this entire section while maintain the same detour and shifting westbound traffic.
