Petoskey District Library welcomes new Director. Hello Petoskey! I am Valerie Meyerson, the new director at the Petoskey District Library. I have been a librarian for 26 years, most recently as the director at the Charlevoix Public Library. I live in Petoskey with my husband and two high school aged kids - it's wonderful to be home. I am excited to provide excellent library service to our community. Excellent service entails saying "yes" when patrons come in and meeting their needs with a welcoming smile. My vision for our library includes filling niche services within the community that are not currently being provided. If there's something you think the library can assist you or your business with, contact me at 231.758.3120, I'd love to talk about it with you.
