Registration opens for Camp Daggett summer camp on Tuesday, January 6th. Applications for 2015 summer camp will be mailed out to 2014 summer campers and will be available in local schools and chambers of commerce on January 6th. Applications will be available to download from our website on January 7th. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications must be downloaded, printed and mailed to Camp Daggett. Every year, over 1,000 children ages 7-14 get the opportunity to spend a week at Camp Daggett. Get your child started on the meaningful and memorable experience of a lifetime. The Northern Michigan Chorale will begin rehearsing for their April 25-26 Concerts, 'Spring is in the air...' on Monday, January 12th. All area singers are invited to join in the joy of singing together.  Registration begins at 6:15 pm, with practices every Monday from 7 - 9 pm.  We are meeting at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 1400 E Mitchell St. in Petoskey. North Central Michigan College's luncheon lecture series for winter announced.  A wide variety of topics will be featured including Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, eldercare, preserving Native families, the Ebola crisis in Liberia, the Lost Boys: The Beulah Home Tragedy, managing naturalized Pacific salmon in the Great Lakes and what's new in the Petoskey schools.  All programs in the winter series will be held on Fridays in the College's Library conference room.
