The next BAH takes place Thursday, October 16 at Stafford's Perry Hotel, 5-7 p.m.
T his after hours will feature members involved with farming and local foods, as part of the Local Food & Farm Festival (www.artmeetsearth.org) taking place during October. Attendees will have the chance to learn about the different farms and local food.
Stafford's Perry Hotel has designed appetizers using Local foods: Cherry BBQ Meat balls,
French Baguette: Stuffed w/ Smoked Salmon, coriander, Dijon, red onion jam and Feta,
Baked Brie En croute w/ Almonds and Pear
Stuffed Mushroom Caps w/ Walnuts, Zucchini, Roasted Peppers and Apple
House Made Focaccia topped w/ Truffle Oil, Endive, Fresh Tomato, Torn Basil, Black Pepper and Roasted Garlic
Fresh Grilled Vegetable Display (local harvest)
Zucchini Fritters with Lemon Yogurt Dressing
No reservation is necessary. Cost is $7 for members; $12 for not-yet members. Business After Hours is a well-attended "end-of-the-work-day" networking event designed to help participants make new business contacts, develop potential new customers, and build exposure for their businesses. Attendees will have the chance to win door prizes donated by different area businesses, enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres and cash bar.
