Business After Hours Thursday
Join us on May 15  for Business After Hours!

This BAH will take place at Buffalo Wild Wings. Of course we decided we just had to have a "Sports Theme" for this night. We encourage all of our members to come to event wearing your favorite team attire -  jerseys, jackets and hats! Special prizes are planned for "super" fans who dress to the hilt. This will be a fun theme night to be involved with as a sponsor too!

There is still time to be a sponsor! For only $150 you will be provided a table for display, you will have microphone time, and you will receive 5 admission passes. Just imagine the fun your team could have dressing up for this. If your business is involved with sports or team attire, a sponsorship of this event is perfect for you. Team Harbor/Brenn Agencies has already signed on as a sponsor. Pellston Regional Airport Update
The chambers' Air Service Task Force met last week and received updates on activity at the Pellston Regional Airport.  A representative of Delta reported that there are currently three flights per day coming in and out of PLN.  That number will increase to four flights per day from July through Mid-August before settling back to three flights per day through Labor Day.  It is expected we'll return to two flights per day during the winter months next year.  He also reported that a few of the flights this summer will utilize the CRJ900 Aircraft which holds 76 passengers and has a first-class section.  Most flights right now utilize the CRJ which seats 50.  Passenger counts for the first four months out of Pellston are up 7%.  This is a continuing trend.  Officials with Lakeshore Express have told the airport manager that they have suspended operations temporarily while they seek a new operating partner.  Lakeshore Express has been a private airline offering service out of PLN to Pontiac and Chicago Midway.  The Air Service Task Force is a committee of business leaders representing the chambers and visitors bureaus from St. Ignace, Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, Cheboygan, Indian River, Harbor Springs, and Petoskey.
