Dear Friend of The Ericson Team
|
Greetings! Wow, how time is flying. Kids are out of school and summertime is upon us. We have been busy listing more properties and helping buyers find their dream homes. We are loving our new home at Keller Williams and are looking forward to a busy summer in Real Estate as well as with our family.

May 2013 Market Statistics
The Northwestern Vermont Board of REALTORS® (NVBR) has released its real estate market statistics for May 2013. The information is derived from data contained in the Northern New England Real Estate Network® and covers Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle Counties.
Comparisons to last year at this time:
- New listings increased 21.8 percent to 369 new properties
- Median sales price increased .4 percent to $246,000
- Inventory continued to drop, down 27.5 percent to 966 units
- Pending Sales rose again this month, up 27.7 percent to 221
We're almost halfway through the year and the market is robust. "As the summertime heats up, so does the market. There is a strong demand for homes in all three county areas", said Kathleen Sweeten, Executive Vice President of NVBR.
Karin will be reporting mid-July on the first six months of 2013, comparing the market to the first six months of 2012. We are looking forward to seeing if our increased activity lines up with the statistics on market as a whole.
