Radar Level Transmitter for Severe Service
|

Siemens has added a new product to their line of radar level transmitters, the SITRANS LR250 FEA. The LR250 FEA is our standard 25 GHz transmitter with a flange encapsulated antenna. This new type of antenna provides a solution for our customers with corrosive materials because there are no metal wetted parts. The LR250 FEA uses an FDA approved TFM 1600 PTFE lens for use in chemical and sanitary environments where aggressive and corrosive materials are used. It also can handle high temperatures up to 338 degrees F, and high pressures up to 232 psi.

XCELL SENSORS ENABLE PORTABLE GAS
DETECTION WITHOUT THE PAIN
|
Confined space monitors have traditionally been maintenance headaches - until

now. MSA XCell Sensors are a breakthrough in sensor design, enabling faster response and shorter span calibrations - savings calibration time and maintenance budgets. ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) technology inside each sensor drives the sensor and converts its output to a digital signal. This chip enables the XCell Sensor to perform real time environmental corrections, provide plug and play capabilities and deliver greater RF immunity.
The MSA XCell Oxygen Sensor uses a non-consumable chemical reaction. Oxygen is converted to water and then back to Oxygen. The sensor does not "use itself up" each time it sees Oxygen, generating a much longer shelf life and overall life span.

The X Cell technology incorporated in the MSA Altair 4X and Altair 5X Monitors. The bottom line for the XCell Sensor technology is this:
Four year expected sensor life on LEL, O2, CO, H2S, SO2, IR with a standard three year instrument warranty and replace sensor indication.
Three year expected sensor life on NH3, CL2 with a standard two year instrument warranty and replace sensor indication
