CITY OF SEMMES FALL FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT

When: 6 p.m. Friday, October 10 

Where: Semmes Community Center, 10141 Moffett Road, Semmes 

Join the City of Semmes for a free family night out featuring the movie "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". Children are invited to wear a costume and the winner of the costume contest will receive a Halloween goody bag. Free popcorn, candy, and drinks will also be served.

LODA ARTWALK

Second Fridays in downtown Mobile is the place to be! Join downtown art galleries, institutions, studios and unique shops as they open their doors and welcome you inside to see beautiful artwork, sample delicious foods and hear the sounds of the LoDa Artwalk.

When:  7 a.m. to noon Saturday, October 11

TANNER WILLIAMS ELEMENTARY HARVEST FESTIVAL & PARADE

When: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 11

Where: Tanner Williams Elementary, 13700 Tanner Williams Road, Wilmer 

This free family event features a live and silent auction, a cake walk, pony rides, guessing jars, music, a bounce house, an obstacle course, and many other games.  Food will be available for purchase including barbeque dinners, snow cones, popcorn, and pizza.

THE COLOR RUN MOBILE

When: 8 a.m. Saturday, October 11

The Color Run, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a unique paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality.

The Color Run is the single largest event series in the United States. This event is sponsored by the Mobile Sports Authority. In every city the event comes to, The Color Run works with a local charity to provide awareness opportunities and donations from the event. In Mobile this year they are partnered with North Mobile YMCA. 

 

Cost: $45 per person for individual runners; $40 per person for a team of 4+ runners
