Mobile Memorial Gardens hosts a week-long Veterans Day event that features more than 250 full-size American flags placed along the central roadway. Flags can be sponsored in honor of specific veterans. Funds raised will be used to address those affected by PTSD.

MOBILE COUNTY BICENTENNIAL VETERANS DAY CONCERT AND PAVILION DEDICATION

Where: Mobile County Bicentennial Pavilion, Medal of Honor Park, Mobile
The Mobile Symphony Orchestra will perform a patriotic musical tribute to our nation's veterans in the new Mobile County Bicentennial Pavilion at Medal of Honor Park off Hillcrest Road. The Pavilion is one of the legacy projects for the Mobile County Bicentennial commemorating the 200th Anniversary of the founding of Mobile County on December 18, 1812. Title Sponsor; Austal USA. Come join the City of Mobile as we honor our nation's veterans with a parade celebrating our freedoms as Americans and also as we honor the Mobile Bay Patriot of the Year and the Mobile Bay Veteran of the Year.

MOBILE POPS ANNUAL VETERANS DAY CONCERT
When: 7 p.m. Monday, November 12
Where: USS Alabama Memorial Battleship Park, Aircraft Pavilion, 2703 Battleship Parkway, Mobile
The program includes patriotic selections, as well as swing music from the WWII era in memory of one of the founders of the Mobile Pops, Jimmie Morris. This is a free family-friendly event.
