Thanks for CCHS Campus Beautification Day Assisance
Thank you to the thirteen wonderful volunteers who assisted at the CCHS Campus Beautification Day on Saturday, August 8.  Four students, four parents, three alumni parents, one former faculty member and one current staff member assisted Mr. Lyons in sprucing up our grounds for the first day of school.  Our hard working volunteers spread mulch, pruned, weeded and did general clean up and completed over 55 volunteer hours. Students who volunteered earned Bulldog Service Hours.  Thanks to all for their help!

College Visits to CCHS
For those of you new to Chamblee, many College Admissions Representatives visit CCHS during the school year to meet with our wonderful students.  Last year, 88 different colleges and universities visited CCHS. Most visits take place in the Counseling Conference Room or alternate CCHS location.

College Visits will be posted on the website, on the Bulldog Bulletin and on the College Visit Calendar posted outside the Counseling Office.

CCHS Seniors and Juniors with a particular interest in that college or university:
  • Come by the Counseling Office and get a College Visit pass at least three days before the representative's visit.
  • The College Visit Pass must be signed by the teacher whose class the student will miss during the visit time and the student is responsible for making up any missed assignments.
  • The College Visits are 30 minutes long and offer the Admissions Representative to present great information about their institution.
  • Students attending have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more directly from the Admission Rep.
  • For many of the colleges, the visiting representative may be the first reader of the student's application.

LINKS TO NOTE
Are You Available to Volunteer in Main or Attendance Office?
Volunteers choose which day, how many hours and which week/weeks within the month that works best for them. You can volunteer anytime between 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Morning Shift) or from 12:00 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. (Afternoon Shift). You determine the amount of time you are available to assist.

Main office volunteers only answer the phones. Attendance Office volunteers interact with both parents and students who check in and check out during school hours. Which office best suits you?  Each week, we have several vacant spots that need to be filled.  If you are available to come in to fill one of these VACANT spots please use SignUp Genius to do so.  Your support makes a difference!
