Norman C. Sauce III grew up in the area of Long Beach, California. He spent the first 12 years of his educational career as a high school social studies teacher and assistant principal at several comprehensive high schools in the greater-Los Angeles basin. He relocated to Georgia in early 2012 to be near his wife's family. He was selected as principal of Chamblee Charter High School in July 2015. Prior to this, he served for three years as principal of Barnwell Elementary School, and briefly as assistant principal of Roswell High School: both high performing diverse schools in Fulton County. Dr. Sauce is the proud husband of Nicole, a former police officer and current security manager for Delta Airlines. They have identical twin toddler sons, Carlo and Gianni.
Dr. Sauce earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from California State University Long Beach (2000), a Master of Education degree from the University of California Los Angeles (2002), and a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Southern California (2009). His professional experiences include service to a diverse array of school communities. As an educational leader, Dr. Sauce is committed to facilitating successful implementation of 21st century learning modalities and fostering tomorrow's global leaders through rigorous, relevant, and engaging educational experiences.
