Sign in today!

Once you have set up your login (by clicking on the link in the email), you can access it anytime by clicking on "Sign In" on our Website.  Once you are signed in, you can view both the Member Community (where you can view and manage your family - and co-leaders can view their troops), and the Volunteer Toolkit (where you can view troop plans and more).

Discrepancies?

* We are manually updating the individual girl grades and troop program levels as needed  If you notice that yours is not correct, email support@girlscouts-gssi.org

* If you notice girls listed as "inactive" on your online troop roster for the current year, those are girls who did not renew for 2016.  They will no longer be listed as of October 1 unless they renew before then.

* Schools listed in the Interest Form are auto-filled by the NCES, a U.S. Department of Education database.  GSSI and GSUSA are aware that their database includes schools that are no longer in operation and some schools are listed under former names. Examples include Precious Blood and Holy Family which are now Holy Trinity East and Central Campuses.  As this is a national, non-Girl Scout database, we are unable to make corrections.

Volunteer News
Friendly Reminder!

As we get ready for another Girl Scout year, it is important that all adults who are helping with troops in any way register as Girl Scout members and complete background screenings.

The safety of our girls is our #1 priority. It is important to be 100 percent confident that every adult working with girls is a safe and positive presence in their lives. Membership also provides accident insurance for registered girls and adults at any Girl Scout meeting or event. Only registered adults count toward the girl/adult ratio that is required for the safety of our girls.

There are many perks to adult membership!
Registered adult members have access to all of GSSI's adult learning opportunities. Membership ensures that you will be notified of all Girl Scout news pertaining to the council, your service unit, or your troop. It also helps us keep an accurate count of our number of volunteers, which helps us better serve our volunteers and apply for grants and other money earning opportunities.

If you are interested in volunteering but need financial assistance with the membership fee, contact support@girlscouts-gssi.org, or 812.421.4970.

Group Finance Report OVERDUE!
Troops/Service Units/Clusters:
Please turn in your 2015-2016 Finance Report, along with copies of your monthly bank statements as soon as possible. These forms are now overdue, and they are very important as this membership year comes to a close.  If you maintain a detailed check register on other software (ex. Excel) simply  attach that to the form - no need to reenter the registry information.   You may turn in the reports to any staff member or email (with scans of bank statements) to support@girlscouts-gssi.org

Building Use Agreements and Contracts
Remember that all building use agreements and contracts should be signed by the council so that we assume the liability and not you.  Simply submit completed forms electronically to support@girlscouts-gssi.org or bring/mail to the office.

Bank Accounts - Changing authorized signers
If you need to change authorized signers on an existing bank account, submit this request  providing information on the account and the desired signers. We will provide you with the required form to take to the bank.

Journey Books
Several public libraries and service teams in our council have Journey books for your temporary use.  Check with your local library or service team on availability.

Activity Insurance
To order Activity Insurance for events that will be attended by non-Girl Scouts or trips that will last longer than 3 days/2 nights, complete the form on our website.
